The Liquid Sky RemixedArtist: Noise Level Album: The Liquid Sky Remixed Year: 2010 CD#: 49455 Best Tracks: #1, #4, #7, #8 Comments Overall: Some of the tracks from the Liquid Sky cd remixed to make them more danceable. Very etherial throughout. 1. Journey Within (Fractal Mix), 3:52 - Dreamy, beeps and clicks, gets deeper and more danceable partway through. 2. The Liquid Sky (Spatial Mix), 5:53 - Strong beat, mechanical-type sounds. Occasionally dissolves briefly before recomposing itself. 3. Little Giant (Dual Mix), 2:06 - Slow and quiet, odd noises in the background, surrealistic. 4. The Rush (Love Interlude (Ethereal Mix), 7:28 - Starts slowly with expansive sounds, then something like a heartbeat, then more music, goes quiet in the middle, ends unexpectely. 5. The Velvet Fist (Proximal Mix), 4:47 - Bizzare beginning. Alternates between heavy breathing and something much more ethereal. 6. Submerged (Feral Mix), 5:34 - Budget action movie in space. Mechanical sounds. Grinding. Develops gradually, but mostly the same throughout. Fades out at the end. 7. Voodo Drone (Spectral Mix), 6:02 - Strange rubbery noises, guitar, synthesiser, a very etherial piece all told. The introduction doesn't bear much relation to anything after about the minuite mark. Morphs into something much more spacey towards the end. 8. Daydream (Distal Mix), 7:05 - Open. I want to say "Oriental", not sure why. Somewhat choppy in places. A very clear, airy, open feel. 9. The Remainder (Total Mix), 8:28 - Etherial, develops slowly, odd peripheral noises. Website: www.reverbnation.com/noiselevelMySpace: www.myspace.com/noiselevel1
